It's actually quite a bit of fun.  It's changed the way multiplayer is done, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  There are some frustrating choke points for the action, but persistence and a team that works together will do well.

You won't be out anything to wait 'till it's cheaper, though.

I've got a couple achievements I still need to get, but I've been playing Brink lately (when I'm not playing FIFA).

Haven't been playing as much since summer is here, but I'm willing to throw it in and play when I'm online.

Send me an invite and I'll join up if I see you online.

Is anyone still playing this? It's super fun and I'd be willing to dust it off if anyone wants to play.

Right on.  I just have #5 and #6 to go that I'm aware of (not sure if there's some super arena I'm forgetting about).  Ping me when you get through 4 and I'll hop in with you.  They take far too long.  I think around 45 minutes or so for the larger arenas.

I'm using a modded shotgun and shield...got tired of hosing through hundreds of rounds of ammo.

I'm still playing this.  I've got 8 or 9 achievements left and 4 or 5 of those are from the Underdome, so I'm grinding through those arenas.  I've just got the last 2 arenas of 20 rounds of 5 waves (200 more waves and I'm done!).

Annoying.

I've got a few other misc. missions to complete (like Braaaaaaaaiins!) and others.  Claptrap missions were fun and I think I've got 1 or 2 things to complete there.  If you see me online (KeetAK) send me an invite.

i just bought the underdome like yesterday i started after it came out and bought all my expansions ass backwards so im game for all those i have only done 2  sets of 5 rounders so far

There is a pile of XP in the new DLC.  I'm sure I'll be playing this with other dads, so whenever the update hits, I'll just keep playing.

I played through more of the story.  Have encountered one part that I'm less than pleased with, but overall still quite fun.

EDIT: Finished out the DLC.  I liked this one.  The part that was very irritating at least had its own payout and ended up being worth it.  The story line ends with a nice reward as well...am curious if it's still there/available if I fire it up again.

I was actually thinking one the same lines as you D.  Though, I'm enjoying Reach right now, not DR2.  My buddy and I are going to play Borderlands tonight though in order to finish up our campaign that we started together so next Thursday we can work on our Reach campaign together.  We will not be playing any B-lands DLC though, just the regular initial campaign.

However, if someone needs some help with the new DLC and you see me on, feel free to shoot me an invite and I will jump in cause I do have it, just waiting to play it until I have a group of dads.

I'm waiting to get it until the patch hits so that I can earn XP to lvl up my characters.  Besides, Dead Rising 2 is a blast and I really don't want to be torn b/w which game to play.

Yeah, I got the update as well, though I don't know what it was for.  Didn't seem to affect anything.

downloaded it and played about 10 minutes. put my modded gun and shield in the bank though for the time being. I don't know about you guys but when I put my disc in it had an update so I don't know what one that was. either way can't wait till Sat when I have some free time to delve into this a bit more.

I have it downloaded but yet to play it.  Maybe this Friday it can be a Borderlands FNG?  I'd be down for that.  I put in Reach instead today.

I've been doing just that.  I've kept the shield on, though.  4-player coop would help tremendously with how strong the new enemies are (with standard weapons and shield).  Seems to be a ton of ammo spread around, so ammo regen isn't critical, but healing would be.

I'm enjoying it all so far.

I kind of hope so.  I played a little last night with a modded shield and pistol.  I was damn near invincible and one shot kills.  Kinda made the game no fun for me.

Just b/c you have them, doesn't mean you have to use them.  You can go back to using your un-modded wpns w/o them taking them away.   :laugh2:

looks like the level cap patch will roll out Oct 12th, at least that's what the rumor is on the gearbox forums.

The level cap increase is suppose to come w/ a free update so everyone will get the lvl cap increase, even if you don't have General Knoxx DLC, you will still be able to get to lvl 69.  Everyone just assumed it would come out before the DLC, but I'll bet it will hit in the next week or so, and I'll bet then alot of the glitches and modded guns will go away,,,,,,,,until someone gets more back out there like they always seem to do.

Downloaded and played for about an hour tonight.  It didn't affect the modded gear.  We'll see how long that lasts 'cause I'm thinking there's a glitch with this DLC.  I thought there was supposed to be a level cap increase, but I didn't gain any experience or levels tonight.  Still stuck at 61.

So far so good as far as the DLC is concerned.  There's no driving back and forth, but there is a labrynth cave system you have to go in for a couple missions (maybe more, but I've only had 2 there so far, one story, one optional - CLUCKTRAP!) that was annoying.

I thought killing in Halo was bad.  Without the shotgun, some of the claptrap enhanced bandits take a clip and a half with a non-elemental SMG.

Has anyone with the super-shotty and "god" shield downloaded the new DLC? There was talk of the DLC containing a patch that would block the use of these two awesome guns/shields. I'm just hoping that I can take down all of the claptraps with one shot. LOL
