HAHAHAHAHA.

I will admit, I'd love to play the carnival level in the upcoming DLC.  Not worth the money, still.

Plus gamestop has a good trade in deal(for gamestop) 2 select titles gets you $40 off of Red Dead R, UFC 2010 or Super Mario Galexy 2

http://www.gamestop.com/gs/specialty/tradeins/save40/

just don't trade in my ODST Chill  :banghead: Im still going to sell my games on Ebay

LOL... I wont make that mistake (again).  I traded in my friends Mass Effect a while back and when he asks for it, I just keep forgetting to bring it haha.  I'll h ave to buy him a copy sometime if he still wants it.

I can sell MW2 for 40 and another title for the same and then get Red Dead, Tiger 11 and who knows what else...

I'll get it as usual...

They are trying to "Salvage" what they can with the product, by running it into the ground till Black ops comes out.

Everyone will flock to that one for a bit.. but they will end up heading back to MW2 because Trey Arch botched this one.. lol

heh.. Truth hurts. lol

Repeating a pattern set by the game's first batch of downloadable content, Modern Warfare 2's "Resurgence" pack will contain a mix of maps, some new, some not so new.

This, of course, was the focal point of many consumer's anger over the first pack, being that they were spending $15 for something that only contained three "new" levels.

Your anger obviously counts for nothing in the face of 2.5 million sales, however, so Activision will be sticking with the same formula to again charge you 1200 points (USD$15) and again give you three new maps and two "classic" ones dragged up from the first Modern Warfare title.

The old maps are Vacant and Strike, while the new maps are called Trailer Park (a tight, constrained map), Carnival (a big fairground) and Fuel (a sniper's paradise).

The Resurgence pack launches June 3 for Xbox 360, while PC and PS3 owners will have to sit tight for further details on their respective launches.

You know, you can just blame yourselves.  $15 for 5 maps.  I remember when Epic announced their pricing for Dark Corners and All Fronts map packs, people exploded on their forums about the price, and that was for 7 new maps and a single player campaign.  They originally were charging $20 for Dark Corners and All Fronts, but after listening to their fan base, changed Dark Corners to just $15 and kept All Fronts at $20.  F*** Activision and MW2.

After spending most of the first month after MW2 was out playing nothing else I can't get motivated to play again, I figure 15days of play time is more than you would usualy get from a $60 game. So onto Ebay it goes it will help pay off RDR & UFC, so byebye MW2 and maybe the call o duty series depending on how the next 1 is done and the monthly fee isnt helping peak my  intrest on getting black ops

I got the limited edition one, it was 90 bucks if I remember correctly, so I'm already over 100 bucks as it is...   I don't have any intentions of getting the map pack any time soon...

Yeah, I already regret buying the first map pack.  I have 0 interest in buying the upcoming one.  I already hated the maps from COD4 as it is.  Why would I pay to play maps I hated?

And then they are going to be $15 again most likely.  So if you bought just the REGULAR edition of the game, you are in for $90.  I don't want to even think how much you are in if you bought the legendary limited edition one.

I'm not fallilng for the new maps this time.  I don't play COD enough anymore to even bother.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up.

More DLC coming in.
http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/13/modern-warfare-2-resurgence-pack-adding-five-more-maps-on-june/

Quote
In what might be the briefest press release we've ever received from a major publisher announcing a new chunk of DLC for an über-successful game, Activision revealed that another set of five multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare 2 will drop on Xbox Live on June 3. We know two things about said maps so far: They're coming in a set called the "Resurgence Pack," and their release will be heralded by two double XP weekends on May 28 and June 4.

Now, that's what we know. What we assume is that the pack will feature a mix of new maps and renovated versions of Call of Duty 4 maps -- perhaps a bit more of the latter, given the title of the bundle. What we also assume is that the "Resurgence Pack" will carry the $15 price tag of the "Stimulus Package" (it worked well enough before). We'll contact people in the know to see if we can squeeze out any firmer details.
