A co-worker let me borrow this and I agree that if you are a fan of the movie you will enjoy it but I would rent it.

Also if you are going for achievements don't bother palying it on the highest difficulty setting the first paly through.  The game will allow you to fight only the bosses the second playthrough to get the achievement for beating the game on the highest difficulty

It's at least worth a rent.  I laughed my ass off through the game.

Did you wander around the fire station?  There are tons of little things in there that pay homage to the movies.  The disco pants that follow you around are a little creepy.

I have it, and love it.  I just played it over the new year holiday again, and have had it since release day.  I've beat it about four times.

I'll play MP, but it kind of sucks, because as soon as you get finished, it throws you back into the lobby, and you have to re-establish the game again.  No ranked matches between friends, just private.  Still fun though, but it's more or less a few mini-games.
