It would bother me too.  I mean, because she was my sister and I asked nicely.  But since she won't, I hope she won't be asking you for anything.....or the big NO will come out.

From your side of things it does seem a tad selfish. However, I could not be upset because someone refused to give me or let me use something that was never mine. If I had lent it to her and she refused to give it back then I'd be upset. Otherwise, I'd do without or get my own.

Just because someone is family does not mean they have to or will be nice to you or others. There are people like that in almost every family. For people like that in my family, I don't ask them for anything nor give them anything...life goes on.

she just got a ipod touch iphone. we don't have a cd player in our car now, no tape player and can only get about one radio station barely...and she won't let me have her 1gig ipod that she don't use. she don't use it, but she won't give it to me even though i asked nicely have and have a good reason to want it especially that we have a 5 hour drive back. she just don't give anything to anyone and doesn't have a job and uses my moms money to buy people xmas presents and acts like she got it. it kinda pissed me off how possessive she can be.
Cheers, Chase.
