I will be on tonight. Just put wife on a plane so I won't hear her bitch at me for talking during the game. She was making fun of me last night with all the smack talking we were doing.

I'm on that wpn as well.  Just use sniper when it is map relevant w/ good treelines or wide open spaces.  Was fun though, we'll be on again tonight if you make it.

That's why its called HARDCORE and not WIMPCORE. When you play at my level AFTER you need SUPER HARDCORE, Where you just look at someone and your dead.  Was fun last night. And I do agree on the everyone is a sniper. But so was I. I was just trying to finish my recon class. I want my 50 cal.

I don't like hardcore b/c everyone and their mother is a sniper and just hits a spot and holds up.  LAME!  Plus I only end up w/ like 400 points b/c it is SO slow paced.  Whereas when I play regular I get 800 points on a bad game.  Not to mention that the medic is useless b/c one shot and you are dead.  So you don't need med packs out.  The sensor balls for the recon are useless also.  No map unless you hit start.  "Oh sh*t, someone is right on top of me!"  Hit start and you come back just in time to see yourself die.  It's nice every once and a while, but I really like regular alot more.

I am game to play with any of you guys whenever.  I have put MW2 on the shelf to play this.  I will pull it out once an awhile for game nights and what not.

I'll do the same.  I'm ready to deal with the learning curve and just get into it.

he is talking about playing tactically. camping in the sense that people talk about when they say "**ck camping" is hiding in the same dark corner the whole game...which isn't legit because if all the players did it on in the game, nothing would happen. sorry i like to clarify that whenever possible.

i myself need to get userd to BFBC because i've been playing COD games since COD4, its really the only MP i've ever really PLAYED played. i'll play whenever i can.
Cheers, Chase.

Tips & Tricks: How Not to be a Noob at Battlefield Bad Company 2

Outstanding video and explanation of the classes!

And finally someone who understands the fact that "camping" is a legitimate tactic.  I never could understand where this imagined "code of honor" came from that says hiding so that you cannot be seen and shooting people is a bad thing??

My son picked this up last weekend, and I've been watching some of his matches.  You can certainly tell the people that have done nothing but play Modern Warfare for the last 3 years.  Some idiot comes running out of the tree line with gun blazing and gets nailed in the back of the head after about 3 steps by people who understand what tactical team play is all about.   That's funny stuff right there!
What if the Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about??

I can't help you with the recon class.  There are typically about 5 recons on my team just sitting in our base the entire map on assault so I pick a different class.  I'm typically the engineer unless I already have one on my squad, then I'll be assault or medic.  The engineer really has all the tools for almost every job.  If you get a good system to following your team's tank, it can become nearly impossible to stop.  Communication is key though, which is really why I only play with my friends/squad.

As a medic, make sure your squad doesn't spread out too much so then you can get them medical supplies quickly.  Just like the tank, a small squad could tear through the other team and objectives easily as long as each class on your squad did their job well.  Since hardly anyone works together, a good squad could dominate the game pretty quickly and the other team will have no idea what's going on (half of them are probably just sitting back in their base sniping anyway).

The best sniping spots are in bushes.  The ghillie suit really blends in when hold still.  Anything that is outer edge of the map and high up.  Inside buildings, don't stand right by the window, but rather 2-3 feet back.  This is a real world sniper tip and that's what I love about this game.  Real tactics apply here as well.  Of course they can blow up that wall to.  But when you play, remember that kill cam.  I sometimes stay somewhere for 5 kills, but after that you are really pushing your luck.  Move on.  And don't forget to use that mortar strike.  Can't see'em, but know he's in the building.  Call in the artillery.
Classes depend on what everyone else is and the map.  A map w/ a lot of vehicles and the enemies have them, I pull out the engineer and jack up those tanks.
No one else really using a med class or you have a lot of teammates using snipers.  Drop those med kits by them.  +20 for squad heals and +10 for teammates healing.  Throw'em around though.  That's free points.  Same for assault, but really assault class is just best used for medium range killing.  Controlled bursts.
So that's my breakdown.

best sniping spots you have found in BC2....just unlocked everything for Recon class loving the last Rifle but cant manage to find a couple good spots without getting killed left and right......and between Medic and Engineer which one is most helpful for upfront close combat :whoa:

I was going to get Splinter Cell, then I found out it wasn't a MP game. So I just took that money and put it towards BC2.

damn u guys and your BFBC2 you guys need to play some MW2. and get splinter cell when it comes out

You just need to break down and get BFBC2.  Best MP game I've played to date and will probably be MP game of the year.  Splinter Cell is great, and I'm getting it, but for me, SC has always been a single player game.  The MP is fun, but nothing that stands out, and nothing I'll be playing further down the road.  I know this one is better done, and the co-op looks very fun, but still, that's only 2 ppl.  BC2 is just too addicting.

I finished BFBC2 on Normal. Missed a few gun collectibles and lots of the other collectibles. I guess I'll go back no on easy to get all those, then do the hard campaign.

The end was kinda boring. Anyone else feel the same way?
I finished the campaign last night, and yeah, the ending was kind of abrupt IMO.

I love this game, however I suck at the MP (what else is new right) LOL!  I am trying to level up, I was doing well with the Sniper rifle, but the team I was on just sucked, so I am ready to game it up with the fellow dads that have time.

Just hit me up with an invite and I will be ready.
