It looks like Lorelei is just going to have to be induced. We went to Jaime's last OB appointment a few minutes ago. She'll be admitted into the hospital tomorrow night (10 pm) and they will start her on that stuff that softens the cervix. Thursday morning, Petosin time! I'll have Nik at home with me tomorrow night, take him over to a friend Thursday morning so she can take him to daycare. By the time he's home, Lorelei should be here!

here's an update...

She had her appointment today, and she's dialated to a 2 and starting to thin out. So, it could be any day now. If she doesn't go into labor by the 16th, she'll be admitted that night and be induced the morning of the 17th.

Here are the best two pics we had from the sonogram. One is the regular 2D, the other is 3D. Lorelei wouldn't cooperate completely, so we weren't able to get full face shots, but you can definitely see that she has some fat cheeks already. We have video at home where we can see that she already has plenty of hair. I will try to get it posted up later this week.

Also, for those that are not yet friends of mine on FB, we managed to get her room painted Saturday... start to finish while Nik took a nap. 1-1/2 hours!! WOOT!!! All that's left to do is decorate, which we have to wait until after the baby shower in a couple weeks.  Once it's done, I'll post pics of it as well.

Awesome!  We never could get one of those 3D/4D pics of either of the kids.  It was like they knew we were trying and they'd cover up.  One second they were in a perfect position and as soon as we tried they'd shift

So we're getting close!! Lorelei is due at the end of June, but she is measuring 2 weeks further along than what the doc says the due date is, so we're looking at a mid-June birth.  :BNB: A couple weeks ago, we went for a 3D/4D sonogram, but Lorelei was in the pyke (sp) position, so her legs were covering her face. We're going back Friday to try again. With any luck, I'll have some cool pics to post on here this weekend. We were already able to tell that she has some hair (already figured she did) and that she's definately a girl. We were also able to see her moving her tongue around, open and close her mouth like she was chewing and swallowing, and see her move her chest up and down like she's breathing.

Congrats, James! We're due a couple weeks later.

Yea, Chris, I have a feeling that from day 1 Lorelei will be in full control of her daddy. LOL

BTW, we found out Thursday, and by Saturday afternoon, all of the baby boy clothes had been purged from the house. The dresser in Lorelei's room is already full of clothes ranging from newborn to 6 months. Think we're anxious? LOL
