Med board process

Can someone tell me the how the med board process works? My wife is being med board and she acts like she is afraid to ask them questions on the process. As of yesterday her Sgt got her paperwork. Whats the next step?

Its been a few years for me i have call me buddy that works at va and see what the new process is they end up retierd me because I had so much time in and I had injuries from 3 wars.I do some looking in to it.

I am not familiar with med boards so I can't help. I should have replied sooner, but when I first read this post I had no clue, sorry Marcus. Hopefully Joe can help ya.
