Would you prefer washing dishes by hand, dishwasher, or not at all?

I sometimes help out with daily dishes. However, my wife usually does them. She uses the DW and sometimes washes by hand. But, when it comes to the Magnalite pots and such, I do the brillo work on them. I put alot of work into them to keep them smooth and shinny. The smoothness, keeps food from sticking to the bottom making cleanup much easier.
