I think that's why the stat-o-matic is having issues.  It pulls your stats from EA and they are having issues and rebooting their websites and doing work.  Mine hasn't updated since 3 ranks ago.   But every night when we get off I check my stats before going to bed.

I can't figure out how a site like stats-o-matic can keep track of your stuff so easily (apart from the sig thing) and the actual game dev can't get it to work on their own site. They had the My Solider section up for maybe a day and took it back down.

Yeah...I'm not seeing any updates in my sig.  Might have to get a new one or try something else.

in my current sig, I'm seeing an even k/d of 360/360, 17 dog tags and 12 hours of play time.

But my stats when I fire up the game are:

kills: 758
deaths: 677
45 dog tags (39 unique)
22 hours of play time

That is my whole goal this weekend is to play more!  It was a blast playing with you and Joey last night, so I will hopefully get better at this one.

Aside from not knowing the maps, I think that's one of my biggest problems.  I'm not used to the pace of this.  My play style in MW2 is run and gun...almost every class has the marathon perk (hit the 104 mile mark a week or so ago).

I've been playing as a medic, but I think I'll mix it up with the engineer and try just completely slowing it down.

It just takes some time.  You have to break all your habits of how you use to play FPS w/ MW2.  Slow down your pace.  If you go 3 minutes w/o even seeing someone, it's OK.  Remember that the biggest revealer for camouflage is movement.  Run and then stop.  You should look for short distances to spring to.  When you learn to move in the USMC they teach you to move and say "I'm up, he sees me, I'm down!"  And on "down" you better be in your cover point or eating the ground.  I'll help you w/ some strategy the next time we play.

I know it takes 24 hrs to update though, but you should just start playing more.  Learn to use the vehicles quick.  You can get some points as engineer for repair, and you can easily get 3 or more kills w/o dying while in the tanks.  But really you just need to play more so you can learn the maps, stay in the tree line and out of the streets.  NEVER TAKE THE MAIN ROADS.  Run house to house.  I can help.  You just need to play more though.

So maybe I am "off my rocker" so to speak, but this signature is not updating correctly.  Kind of sucks if you ask me!  I guess it really doesn't matter though b/c I am still pretty bad at this game.
