So where do you hide the ladder you need to climb up into that beast?  Do you have to have the gas attendent fill it up or do you have a booster to step onto so you can reach the gas door and put the nozzle in?

When you gonna put the watermelon shooter tail pipe on?

Hey.  I have been thinking about buying one, or an expedition.  What type of gas mileage does the Excursion get?

At 8,000lbs. the Ex gets 17+ hwy, 13-14 city in the 6.0L diesel. Cheaper care would be what my buddy has and loves it, Expedition EL (extended length).

I chose the Ex for 1.) safety, 2.) engine durability 3.) throw all your $hit in it, no problem

You can still find Excursions with diesel engines for around $25K... with 60-80,000 miles on 'em.

Keith this is one of those questions where if you have to ask you shouldn't be thinking of buying it. ~o)

You guys are right.  But I NEED something with the room for all my kids, plus the ability to pull our camper.    My options are limited.  :)
