Automotive Photography
« on: March 23, 2010, 06:33:02 PM »
I have recently branched my hobby to include Automotive photography. I would love to make this a career because I can't imagine a better job than taking pictures of awesome cars and trucks. this is a few pics from a portfolio building session of my buddys truck.

Man, it must be nice to have an eye for colors, backgrounds and angles and all the other things going into taking pictures.

Looks sweet man.  Love that color on the truck too.  Looking at this makes me think of fire, very aggressive, perfect for that truck.

Those are nice shots.

I helped Johnny Hunkins with a photo shoot for GM High Tech Performance Magazine.  It was pretty fun doing it.  He put the police car I was driving at the time in the magazine as a 'thank you' under the 'reader's rides'.  They bring out all the umbrellas and everything.  I think we spent about four hours, and only 6 or 7 shots made it into the magazine, but it was the feature (cover) car.
