Been a long time since I've posted here. Sorry about my absence.
Anyway, I've had a long and tiring learning curve this past while. I've been introspecting quite a bit and challenging myself to be a much better father. I thought I'd throw a few books out there for you guys on the off-chance that they may prove helpful in guiding you to a deeper understanding of human nature, and how to deal with kids. I'm not assuming that anyone is ignorant of these things, but we all have room to learn and grow.
Here goes:
1. The Continuum Concept, by Jean Liedloff
2. Hold On To Your Kids by, Gordon Neufeld
3. Unconditional Parenting by, Alfie Kohn
If anyone has read any of these books, I'd love to have a conversation about their contents. Some of the material is quite challenging and not easy to integrate into a family after having no experience with them in my own life. But it has been more than rewarding nonetheless.
Take care,
Christopher
