Well yesterday we started gathering stuff that my grandfather had collected over the years. I got a ton of ww2 memorobilia, including a Japanese Arisaka rifle w/bayonette, Marlin semi auto 22 lr, old air rifle, 40mm spent shells, 1 still loaded, various old pics from Hawaii circa 1945, alot of his old TV repair hand tools, still lots to go and get, it was just overwhelming how much stuff he really had. As far as the things I got I will never let them go, he's been gone since October and when I wandered around in the house for the first time since he passed I really started missing him again. Gosh I wish he was still here.

Great finds and memories for you. I know what you mean being reminded and it hurting some. The things you found you will be able to share with your kids and grand kids, which is kinda cool because it keeps his memory alive with those who did not know him.
