Okay. Don't laugh but I saw this on my wifes message board and though it was a pretty cool way to get to know each other.

This post would need to be a stick so that it is easily found.

Whoever wants to participate PMs Keith and he then makes a list of people and then each week, he picks a person and asks that person 5  questions (or comment) each day of their week. The same 5 questions gets asked to everyone on their week. So Keith would have to make 5 questions (comments).

Some of the things I saw were things like:

Monday: Tell us about yourself (not family) ie..Where did you grow up and go to school.

Tues:  How did you meet your spouse (significant other). When did you get married. Talk about wedding and honeymoon (Keep it clean. )

Wed:  When did you decide to have kids. How many do you have, want, names, ages etc...

Thurs: What do you miss most about your life BK? (Before kids)
What do you love most about being a parent....

Fri: Free day. Other members get to ask questions to MOTW.

These are just example questions and can be made whatever you decide. Since we're guys, we can ask more about fav teams and cars (trucks) etc...

Just an idea. No biggie if not done.

We did this long ago but I didn't have time to keep it up.    Also, some people sign up and don't visit often..  And the fact that with working on DP, school, night shift and 3 young kids...   Time was short..

I say this..    It's a great idea and very good for getting to know each other..  I really don't have the time to do that now, BUT, if you would like to be in charge of it......I'm game for that to happen..     Kudos to the new guy!

That's cool. I would be more than happy to help out here. I can take on this project and handle it if that's what we need. Thanks for the opportunity to assist with the site. I have noticed that there are only a few of us that constantly post so I can start randomly picking from them. If someone does NOT want to participate, please PM me and let me know so I don't bother you with it. I also promise to make the questions MANLY. It want be alot of the ladies stuff like describe your wedding day and things like that......lol

I'll volunteer to be the first..       I'm easy like that.  And thanks for helping out Jim.

I have noticed that there are only a few of us that constantly post so I can start randomly picking from them.

Speaking of that..   I'm trying to get new members here that will post.   I search for "proud parents" on myspace, just like I did you Jim, and invite them to the Daddyplace group on myspace, which all members of the daddyplace group can on myspace, and then they read about this site.    As you can tell, I have thought alot about this.   LOL

(Woohoo. I hit Daddy Jr status. Now on with the post)

That's cool. I have been telling all my friends about both myspace and daddyplace and I also have the link on my myspace profile. Like I said, I think it's cool to have a place for us dads. The moms have a million of them.

Now what would I need to do to get the MOTW started?

Just start the thread?

Can I sticky it or is that somethinhg you would have to do?

I've never helped with a website before so this will be new to me.

Go ahead and create it in the board that you want..  Probably the New Introduce yourself section.     And there should be an option to sticky it, if there isn't, I can do it for you..    The rest is up to you..    Go for it, Florida fan.   :)     (I still like you though)    :)

Ok, I will set it up to start next Monday. That will give me this week to come up with the questions and set it all up. I'll let you know if there are any problems with the sticky.
