What daddyplace is about.
« on: September 13, 2006, 08:11:12 PM »
Hey all.    I would like you guys to write what daddyplace is about, to you.    I want to put these on the front page so when guests come to the site they can read these and see that daddyplace is for them.    You can write whatever you want..    This should be really cool..     Let's try it out and see how it works.

DaddyPlace is a place where dads can be dads. We can let it all hang out and not feel pressured to conform to to a forum that is not geared toward dads. It is a place where we can get and give parental advice, brag about our kids, and talk about our likes and dislikes. The best part of this forum is that it is a place that I can be me and a place where I have made and am making good friends.

Although haven't been here long, I find that it's a great place to make friends. It gives us a place to go and "get away" for a while. We can talk about anything we want. Ask for any advise we need. Brag about our kids and just have some fun.

Going to Daddyplace is like going down to the local pub.  Think an online version of "Cheers".  It's a bunch of guys sitting around and shooting the bull.  Good friends and Good times.

The funny thing is, yesterday morning before writing my paragraph, I was trying to rewrite the Cheers lyrics for daddyplace, but I was too tired and gave up.

Where everybody knows your name......    Great that tune will be in my head all day...     One lyric in that song says, "and your husband wants to be a girl"    Of course, that part wasn't in the theme song on the show.   LOL
