If you go to the Daddyplace Fitness group page there is a tab at the top that says Goals. Click on the tab and you will see both challenges, mine and Keith's. If you click on either them you will see a progress bar for that challenge. Since the one I entered has already started you will se that it has moved to 14% since Friday when it was started, the reason for the progress is because of what our members have logged in their training logs.

so as i am looking at the Challenges on here, i am beginning to think that the challenge i set up for 1 Oct  to run 100 miles, is a group event, like the challenge  we are currently doing.  So we will not each run 100 miles, but it will be a total.  (If i understand it correctly). I can try to find another way to do it if need be, whatever you guys think.

alright guys, i think that i have found a way to set this challenge up.  However i need you guys to accept me as a friend on mapmyrun to be able to do it.

The following have already accepted:
Pat   (Emilysdad)
Mike (maccabees)
John (ramblindad)
Tony (tonyrosen)

i have sent friends requests to the following.    Once we have friend requests, i should be able to challenge individuals for this, and have individual results (ie 100 miles) as opposed to us all completing a portion of 100 miles

bigred14
bosshoss
kruseingdragon7
zrandy
crimson

what i am going to attempt to do once i have these is sign up for the run myself, and when you do this, you can dare others to do it also.  In order to do this, you have to use friend lists or emails. As you either accept or decline the offer to be a friend, i ask that you let me know on here, as i check this more frequently then i do mapmyrun.  If there is anyone in the two groups of names above, who wishes not to do the run 100miles in 30 days, please let me know.  We can also set up an alternate for those who would rather walk or what not.  The goal by 30 Oct is to have all individuals who want to partake, at 100 miles.

they are... if i am correct mapmyfitness is a "parent" site of mapmyrun.  runs that you do in mapmyrun can automatically sync into maympfitness

alright guys, i believe that i have figured out challenges on mapmyrun and customizing them for us.  I have sent everyone a dare to complete the 100 miles in 30 days, all you need to do is accept.  Once i have a few more minutes i will post how to do this, so that all will know.
