Marathon Training
« on: August 04, 2010, 02:15:49 PM »
Well as some of you know I have signed up for the 2010 Philly Marathon on November 21st.  I am down to 16 weeks until race day.  Attached is my training program.  Along with this running schedule I am incorporating some cross fit training at nights.  I usually run in the AM.  I must be nuts!  :righton:

good luck with the training plan.  let us know how it goes.  Maybe in a few months i will start working that way, with the hope of doing a full marathon when i come home six months.

Go get 'em!

Maybe I'll swing on down with the family and cheer you on. Do you know if it's going to be a wave-start or 1 large group?

Not sure.  I don't see anything on their site about starting in waves but I can't imagine they'd let any hack in the front row (you know like me)

I do have a hotel room about 300 yards from the start.  I could get there real early.  Stand next to a Kenyon! It's a 7AM start
