Mac or PC?

I'm definitely a PC guy, but the Mac has it's good points, like awesome video editing.

I ask the question the way I do since there are people that use both, sometimes more at work or school, more than the other.

Mac.

I use both at work so I'm familiar with PC's. Regardless, I would never buy one.

I have one of each sitting right next to each other on my desk, and I'm posting this from my PC. That should tell you all that you need to know.

I built my last 4 PC's, Like was said earlier Mac has its good points but I don't do any of that stuff.  I mostly use the PC for MMORPG and other games.  And porn.

Im a PC guy, Im going to school for Computer Networking and IT stuff and ill tell you what most of the books have a paragraph on MAC. Unless your in cali and work for a movie editing company all corporations run PC or sometimes Linux and even at that there servers are PC even if they run MAC. now MAC has some other stuff like no viruses but as its popularity grows people will start making them for MAC then it will be the same as PC

I'm a PC guy simply because I haven't had the scratch to pay for a mac.  I like the software, I like the OS and I'm sure the change to a slightly different input wouldn't take much at all to sort out.

I could see the networking guys being PC over Mac, but certainly not over Unix/Linux.  Every admin I've talked to loathes having to work on windows servers.

I wouldn't mind getting a Mac, though, Garage Band is pretty slick

I've worked with a number of software developers over the years and am starting to notice a shift in their choice of tools. Most developers I've come across are PC people but I see a lot of Mac laptops sliding out of their messenger bags. I would think the ability to run Unix/Linux, Mac OS and multiple versions of Windows all on the same machine has something to do with it.

You can do that with anycomputer with VMware. I have 3 versions of linux all versions of windows windows server 2008 and MacOSX on my computer and i can run serveral of them at the same time. Its pretty awesome. and now that MAC is built with pentium processors instead of motorolas you can have mac hardware which is good because they use solid state hardrives and run windows
