FYI the most recent studies on Glucosamine w/ Condroitan do not indicate that the supplements are actually helpful.

No, but quite possibly useless.  Do you have arthritis?  Mostly they're used for osteo-arthritis.

I've been taking Glucosamine for a couple years now. I did notice a decrease in knee issues when running and cycling.

However, I've since stopped. I figure the fish oil will take care of any inflammation issues. I'll continue to monitor things and if need be I'll begin taking it again.

i started taking Glucosamine a few months ago and also may switch to fish oil to try to keep the pain away and speed recovery.

couple questions for the guys using fish oil,
for Bob I was checking out the stuff you get and was wondering if this statement they made is true?
Quote
zero after fish burp, zero fish taste
and for everyone else do you have the same issue with the burps and fish taste? or is it just the brand I'm using? It's not a huge deal but if I can get away from it I will, I use the capsules because of the price. I have already noticed that it's helping in the short time that I've been using it.

Frank, in my experience that statement is 99% accurate.

I take it with food so I get a couple of burps within the first half hour, but it's not fishy at all and it's probably got more to do with how fast I eat. Since I've got the tangerine flavor it's kind of like if I chugged a glass of orange juice.

I'd taken the pills some years ago and the fish thing would stay with me all day. It really turned me off to it and I recall stopping within the first week.

Ran out of my initial supply of oil and have been without for 2 weeks now.

My body is SO much more sore and just doesn't recover as fast. Time to re-up.

My question though, how important is it to keep it in a fridge after opening.  I do not have one in Iraq, and would have to find other was to keep it cool?
