Man Randy, that looks like it's tough and a lot of fun. I'd do it this year, but I'm not in the proper physical shape, and I doubt I will be by the time it starts, but I'm definitely going to look into doing this next year.
Below is actually a sprite edit of Zero from the Megaman X series from Megaman X4 and beyond. The character I'm creating through the edit is called "Heat".

So the dash was yesterday.  It was a LOT tougher than I expected.  It really was 3.5 hellish miles.  There wasn't a step that wasn't a possible ankle breaker, or in some kind of water or mud.  I couldn't believe how much mud.  At times it was knee deep. you were sliding and tripping over rocks, logs, roots.  Running thru a river that was waist deep, then another that was knee deep but filled with rocks so you never had sure footing.  Climbed a 25' wall using a rope with knots, a cargo net, tunnels where you had to crawl through. Over a 5' wall then under barbed wire right after it 5 times.  ran through tires then over junked cars, jumped some fire and finally through a mud pit on your hands and knees with barbed wire over your head.  It was hard and fun at the same time.  I'd definitely do it again.

Haven't gotten my official time yet but it was around 48-49 minutes.  It was brutal and yet fun. Really a great challenge. I thought I was in shape but I was in running shape not this shape.  I was wooped.  Sore from my knees down mostly fromtrying to stay on my feet in the mud and rocks.  I am definitely doing it again next year!

No wonder I couldn't find my name they had my age wrong.  I was looking in the wrong age group.  They had my wrong birthday and I changed that before the race, guess it didn't go through.  So my official time was 48:52.80.  #1645 out of 6512 overall.  #51 out of 165 in my age group.

That's inspiring Randy. It's awesome that you did that good, and next year, you will do way better.
