That looks awesome.  Tell me, how, in the land of lawsuits, do they actually have normal people jumping fires and crawling under barbed wire?  I mean it looks hella fun and i'd do it in a second but I'm just curious.

You have to sign a pretty good waiver that exempts them from anything.  You agree you know it's dangerous.  I didn't have pictures of the 25' wall you had to go over or the waist deep river or the other river with the rapids and huge rocks you had to go through.  I'm hoping when the pictures come out there are some of those things.
 The waiver is attached

Next time more cross fit for me before it.  Especially the legs, lower legs.  My lower legs are sore from trying to maintain my footing for 3.5 miles and sliding and stepping on rocks and roots etc.

Looks like the Central Texas one has some different obstacles than the one in PA I did.

We didn't have the hells hill.  I found this video on youtube that shows one guys entire run so you can get an idea of what the race was like.  The paths in the video look somewhat dry but they were all slick and muddy

lol yeah he made it look easy!  I saw a few people with the cameras.  I'd never seen the set up before but the ones I saw were on the guys chest strapped there with some kind of harness.  The cameras were in plastic boxes.  Small cameras like 3" across. Saw another with one on his head.  This guy had it rigged to his shoulder somehow.
