New Feature, Likes of topics and posts!
« on: August 31, 2012, 12:21:32 PM »
We have recently installed a new feature. I think it is pretty cool. It is a post like feature, not to be mistaken for another type of karma because your liking the post not the user. What this feature does is give you the option to like an individual post. If you find a post funny, helpful, cool, or some other reason that you like it you can now show that you like it.

In the upper right corner of each post there will now be a Like button. If you like the post you can click it. You can only like a post once. After you click Like once the button turns to Unlike.

If you make a mistake you have the option to Unlike the post. The Unlike button takes the place of the like button.

At the bottom of each post, once it is liked, the users who liked the post will be displayed.

At the top of a topic thread in the upper right corner will be the number of likes received for posts in that thread. One cool thing is you can click on this and see whose post is liked and how many likes their posts got, so then you can track the post down and see what others have thought was so interesting.  :)*

While your surfing the forum you can see which threads have gotten likes and the number of them. For me it's cool because if there is something new in a thread I have already seen and posted in I can see that others saw something cool, so I might go there first.

From the member list you can see how many posts an individual has that have been liked.

You can also see how many posts have been liked in an individuals profile. But the handiest feature about that is from the profile, you can not only find all the posts he has made, but you can narrow it down to posts he has made that have been liked.

So enjoy the new feature and give us some feedback!  ~o)
