Finally some good 4 wheelin weather
« on: April 04, 2011, 05:47:56 PM »
Temps are up and the rain a comin down, makes for some good mud for the old truck and 4 wheelers. I think the kids and I will be heading for the mud pits this coming weekend. Bust out the BBQ as well.

Ugh! I'm jealous! I don't have time to take the truck out and show those lil Jeeps how to fling mud!

I don't care for Jeeps, they usually have me pull them out, when I get hung up it takes 2-3 of them to get me out. Mine is an 85 Chevy 3/4 ton, 44 inch boggers, 16 inch lift, 454 with 400turbo trans.

Nice! I don't have mine lifted (yet), but I got an '00 Ram 2500. I got some Wrangler AT/K/O's on it right now cause I was doing some heavy pulling, but I'm looking at some real mudders soon. In a couple years I'm going to turn it into a real mud toy and do some engine work... gotta see how strong the Dana 60 front and rear axles really are.

You guys can keep all that corrosive mud.  My Jeep and I will be somewhere in a pile of rocks.

If I took my Dakota mudding I'd probably leave half of it stuck in the mud, parts falling off all over the place

Love going wheeling.  No truck to take, but the atv's are fun enough.

That's the type of stuff my brother enjoys as well.  More crawler type stuff.

I catch CORR racing every now and then, and used to idolize Ironman Stewart

Jeeps are awesome for crawling. I love to watch them, but I'm not into doing it myself.

This is about as muddy as I get.  This is a friend of mine who was in front of me.  We had to straddle a muddy ditch thing, and well, he went too close to the inside.

That's a great pic. I will post some as soon as I get my scanner fixed.
