I'm really shocked that there's not an entry there mandating the growth of arm pit and leg hair for all women.

That is an extensive list they have there. Or should I say that person that made it has. I don't know what they were thinking letting him be a representative. I do agree with a few of the things he said, but that's about it. I think this guy and the rest of Occupy Wall Street need to do more educated studying, then come up with some demands that are worth warranting.

I heard one of the protesters say that there is still a place for protesting. While I do agree with that, I disagree that wall street is that place. No, I believe that place is better set in countries like Libya where a dictator is killing those who speak out against him. There is NO place in America for protesters. We have too well developed of a society to be reduced to such ignorance. What if I got tired of my neighbor not planting flowers? Can I post signs in my front yard and then whenever I'm off work, stand out there with a bullhorn trying to bully my neighbor into planting tulips?

While I completely get your point, that would be funny to see someone actually do.

Plant more tulips, give us more daisies, we want white roses, to pick them for our ladies.

Perfect garden picketing slogan.

I tend to disagree with this, to an extent.

Protesting a dictator who kills those who dissent...seems like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Considering it's one of our protected rights here in the US, I'd say this is a great place to protest.  Wall St. seems like an odd location, unless all they're looking for is publicity.  I can't imagine any of this will make a difference until we start speaking with votes, though.

The sentiment of the Occupy Wall Street reflects, to a degree, what a lot of us are thinking or seeing.  Things have been allowed to get out of control.  However, the underlying message I see is this: We have been given just enough rope to hang ourselves with.

And I don't mean just us consumers living beyond our means.  Our inability to control this growth (in whatever fashion is/was possible) got us here.  Corporate greed, personal greed, clever marketing, desire for power...whatever it was, we all allowed it to get here.  It's like we've built a car that'll do 200 mph, but didn't think about the brakes (or helmet or seat belt or roll cage) until we hit 198.

Can't say the next decade won't be interesting.

While I understand going to Wall Street because it's a well known place etc I think they'd be better served doing it in front of congress.

What?  This isn't about McDonald's no longer offering the McRib?
