First set of stitches...
« on: October 17, 2011, 08:32:30 PM »
With all of the drama lately, I haven't had a chance to tell you guys about Landen's latest milestone! Friday afternoon, he was taking a bath at his Mimi's house (his grandmother). Apparently, he reach to give his momma a toy out of the bathtub and he lost his footing. His chin came straight down on the tile wall around the bathtub and was gashed open. Paulena called me in hysterics telling me what had happened and that they were on their way to the emergency room. At this point, I was over an hour and a half away so I of course began to speed the rest of the trip. I got there about 5 minutes before they put the TWO whole stitches in his chin! I missed the incident but I will say he was a trooper for the stitches. Although the anesthesia helped a bit I'm sure...HAHA.

I'm glad it wasn't too bad and I am glad that he took it well.   I remember my oldest son he was around that age when it feel in the tub and hit his eye.   it was right around the holidays and boy did his eye turn black.
