So Arkham City (the Sequel to the Batman Game Arkham Asylum) was released this week. i was wondering if anyone else bought it, and if so, what do you think. I have bought it, but due to our house being disarrayed due to a new floor, i have been unable to play it yet. So what are your thoughts on the games, it has extremely high reviews.

I haven't picked it up, yet, but it's on my short list, especially after seeing some of the reviews.
The first was a blast.

i agree the first was great. I have had enough time to download the codes from Gamestop for it (Joker and Catwoman) but that is about it. Can not wait to actually play it. FYI if you buy it new you get a code to play as Catwoman for 4 additional levels.

So, in a strange coincidence, while at my daughter's soccer practice, my buddy sends me a text saying he bought an extra copy of the game and left it for me in his truck (he works on the slope in a 2-week rotation, parks his truck at my place to save the airport parking fees).
Put in the codes and started playing last night. Very, very fun. Easily just as good as the first, with just a little more polish. I love it!

I might have to get this. I really liked the first one and I'm glad the sequel is good as well. I was trying to decide between this and Unchartered 3, but since I just bought Battlefield 3 and have CoD preordered I think i'll go with this since it's not just a shooter and something a little different.

I'm starting my second playthrough with this one. I completed everything but the riddler side quests (400 trophies, I think...) and one other side quest.
Very fun game.

I didn't have my daughter this last week/weekend and only had 2 soccer games (one hers, one mine). I burned some midnight oil!

I think so.
The riddler challenges aren't just "find them". The story had a few surprises that I enjoyed. The combat was largely the same, but tuned. Figuring out an approach for taking on a room full of armed baddies was quite fun.
Really, my only real complaint from the game is you can't fly out of the restricted zone once you complete the game. The path in is the path out and that's it. Sad since it contains the tallest structure in the game.

Finally been able to start playing this game, and I love it. I am trying to figure out if I am going to just get through it and then go back for all of the side quests, or do them as they appear. Realistically the first play through will take me some time due to lack of time, but it will definitely keep me busy.
