Xbox360 Play Dates
« on: December 23, 2011, 05:20:26 PM »
Alright I took down the Friday night gaming thread as it has been over a year since anyone used it. This being said, I really miss Friday night gaming with us dads, so I am starting this thread as a precursor to setting up a steady night.

If you are interested in starting a regular night, let's use this thread to figure out the best night. You can also use this thread to throw out one time night idea and see if any bite.

I know this is a hard thing as we don't all have the same games. But I enjoyed it not just for the game, but for the good times we had, so maybe some older games that we all have will work. I don't know, what are your thoughts?

I miss it too.   I don't know how many are still on here that have an xbox, so if you have one and want to get a night together post it here.   We can also let our kids play as well to make it even better.

I missed out last time due to my extended vacation, and would be up for it depending on the night.

I'll play any time.  I don't have a ton of games, but I usually have the most popular ones.

I am not able to afford a lot of games anymore, but fortunate for me, my boys ask for a lot of games for Christmas and birthdays.  So I get to play their games, but they don't take great care of them.

I'm in as well.  Friday nights would probably work best for me as I will have soccer all weekends.  The later the better as I'm a couple/few hours behind most of you.

To get this moving, how about we list some MP games we have so we can pick one and play!

CoD: Black Ops
CoD: MW3
Battlefield 3
Bulletstorm
FIFA 12

I would definitely be up for this, I just need to get some more games. That and to go Gold again.
Below is actually a sprite edit of Zero from the Megaman X series from Megaman X4 and beyond. The character I'm creating through the edit is called "Heat".

Friday and Saturday evenings are best for me. The earliest I could go online is 6:00pm pacific time.

Games I have:
COD: MW2
COD: Black Ops
COD: MW3
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Plus a few others I can't think of off the top of my head

Like Ramblin (btw guys I got an xbox... err the kids got an xbox)  I have COD MW2.  I don't have 3 and won't likely have it until it is cheap cheap.  I've had it for like 2 days so I suck horribly at it.  I also have fallout3 which I don't know if it has a multi-player mode   IF there are any that you figure I could find cheap that would get us all in I'll gladly look for it.

FR me.  Shockingly my tag is Elabon.

Looks like we will be playing again.   :)     BTW Bill.    Down here, my son bought CoD MW3 the other day, he thought it was $60.  He went to pay for it and it was only $39!   He  wanted to go back and buy something else with the money he saved.   I told him NO.   LOL

One cool game my son got that isn't multi-player, the new batman game.  I had no idea some of it was in 3D.  Even came with the glasses for it and it works!   It's awesome.

Heck the only reason I have MW3 is because someone else bought it for my son.

Alright, lets see if we can make this work this Friday, Tomorrow! I know short notice and we won't have a big turn out because of it. That and because this is new for us again.

Start Time: 6:00PM (Pacific) it can start earlier, but I think the earliest I can get on is 6.

Game: I vote for MW2 or MW3. I know with MW3 I can split screen and have Jeremy there too, which can be cool. What game do you want?

Also I am starting another thread for gamer tags to active DP members. By active I mean just post your gamer tag on the thread. We can define "active" better later.

Here is the gamer tag thread => http://www.daddyplace.com/index.php/topic,17208.new.html#new

I think everyone should be invited.  Even if they don't have the game.  Jump in the party and chat with us.  The DaddyPlace guys always have something interesting to talk about.

Sorry I missed it this week guys.  I am in SC for a few more days.  Next weekmimwillmbe on for sure as my family will be staying in SC for a week after I return to TX. I think we should try to have a few days notice on the game so that. Those who do not have it can try to get it if they can.

Redbox would be good to get a game for a night.  $2 a night.  Can't be that.
