Great job Randy. Good luck on the Warrior Dash. I'm thinking of doing it too. I'll be sure to let you know if I pull the trigger.

Are you doing it as an individual or team?

I ran it last year with my friend but it was just running together not a team.  How was your Tough Mudder??

Mudder was cold and awesome. I didn't black out on the electric shocks this time so that was a plus and I plowed right through the monkey bars this time.

TM HQ runs a great event. They have plenty of food and water and the music is great. I mention music because when you get to obstacles toward the end of the race you're beat to hell. But hearing Rage Against the Machine gives you a little extra juice.

I'm thinking of doing it again in September in Maryland. The weather should be perfect then.

Awesome!  I hear you about the music.  At about mile 9 they had a live band on the course.  They looked to be High School kids but man could they play.  They just started up Boston Rock & Roll Band as I was coming up on them and I was tempted to stop and watch they were playing it so well.  After that I was wishing they had more bands.  There was one other band but as I went by the guy was giving the usual BS line about how he runs a marathon back and forth to the bar and how he lifts weights 12 ounces at a time yuk yuk

After seeing Randy's picture on Facebook, I have finally but the bullet, and signed up for the warrior dash her in central Texas in November.  This will be my first event of this type, and can not wait!

Oh this hurts my feelings!

I would LOVE to do this but I've got my drill weekend on that day. Guess how often we have drill on the last weekend of the month? About twice per year! What are the odds!? LOL

that looks cool.

Tomorrow starts my run season with the Hottest Half Marathon. Should be fun, and is a small race, only about 1600 runners.
