Calling all Cub Scout Dads
« on: May 24, 2012, 10:45:08 AM »
I'm pretty sure there are a few of you out there.  My son has been a Cub Scout for a couple years now.  He is moving up to Webelos this summer.  His current den leader is becoming the Cub Master and I've been asked to step up and take in the den leader roll.  What have I gotten myself into?  I've never been in Cub Scouts so I've been learning along with him.  Anyone have any good resources I could check out?  Any information would be helpful.  Thanks!

Last interaction I had with the scouts was when I was in them as a kid.  You might PM/Email John (Ramblin' Dad) as I believe he's been a den leader for awhile now.

I'd give you the same answer as Keet.  My son will be joining the cub scouts this year so I'm hoping to get more involved.

I agree with Keet.   I know Ramblindad has been doing this for sometime.    Give him a yell.
