I am the bread winner in our Family - IT Analyst for a Dairy Manufactuer, however my wife is getting frustrated being a SAHM.  She says she wants to go out and get a job, as well as go to school.  So we will see, I told her to wait till the kids were in Pre-K or get a PT job at night.

I enjoy being the bread winner, but damn it is frustrating sometimes!   :hairpull:

My wife is a partner in an accounting firm. I'm an architect, but I haven't done that in 4 years now. Compared to my old salary she makes a bazillion dollars. Possibly a batrillion.

Great to see the wide variety of backgrounds.  I'm the main 'bacon-getter' (for now)...Director, Business Intelligence/Analytics for mid-size manufacturing company.  My wife is a SAHM for the most part...but still maintains 1 day a week of work to maintain her state certification as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. (Aka - she'll go back to work someday...just not until the midgets are a bit older)

My wife is a clinical trial manager in the pharmaceutical research industry. She's an oncology specialist and helps shepherd new cancer drugs through he trials and make sure they meet FDA guidelines. She's become a bit of a troubleshooter, fixing trials that have gone astray. So far, she's helped bring four different cancer drugs to market, and played a big part in your kids vaccination schedules by rescuing a study aimed at figuring out how many vaccines can be combined into one visit and how long is best to go between vaccines.

My wife and I work in the same field. HAZMAT Operations and disposal for a refinery. Well she still does, I am a SAHD now , but I still do work on a podcast for guys. Yeah she makes a ton more money than I did. I figured "Heck, now is the perfect time to play up on the whole 'women in careers' thing". And boy did it work out! Businesses today are SO worried about what will happen to them if they don't give women workers what they want (Thank you modern feminism).
