See what the military does to you? I told ya Gunner was mentally sick and this just proves it. What was that Gunner? I don't care how pretty you think she is, leave that goat alone and take your blue pill!

You're confusing us with Louisiana. Illinois is the "Land of Dirty Politicians"!

Same difference... in LA you are bending over something, in Illinois someone is bending over you... lol

I'm originally from Houston ... so, the Astros are THE only reason to watch baseball ...

Well, I am currently serving in the Army.  I have been in since '04.  I went to basic training at Fort Benning, GA, and am currently stationed at my first duty station Fort Lewis, WA.  I am a member of the 472nd Signal Co. that is attached to 4th BDE 9th INF BN.  My unit is going to be deploying to Iraq on April 10th for no less than 15 months.  Unfortunately, I will not be going with them.  Instead I will be heading back to Fort Benning in order to go to OCS.  From there I will be going to Fort Gordon for my branch training which, luckily, happens to still be Signal.  I had just recently talked to my branch manager and he informed me that my next duty station will be Fort Carson, CO.  So I will be reporting to Fort Carson by Valentines Day next year.

Thanks for sounding off bmu, and thanks for your service.

Cool that you are going to OCS. I never got the opportunity because the Navy spent too much money training me as a Nuke, they wanted their pound of flesh.

In January of 2008, I'll have 7 years in the Army Reserve National Guard. I plan on staying in until I retire. I spent all of 2006 in Afghanistan and 6 months at Ft. Knox in 2003. If anyone thought the National Guard was gonna chill on deployments, that's not true. From everything I've been reading, the US GOVT (in all it's wisdom) has decided to change the Guard from a strategic (only deployed in emergencies) to an operational force (we go whenever "needed"). I work as a 92A20 - Automated Logistics Specialist. Basically that means I order parts and track maintenance that the mechanics are doing.  ~o)
