I'm starting to consider getting a vasectomy.  Has anyone here gone this route, and if so, do you have any words of wisdom?

I have a couple of friends that did.  They recommend it if you are done.  I'm also thinking about it and will probably go that route in the next couple of years

I have thought about it.  My wife still has not decided if she wants more kids.

I have had the Wasadude operation. Some say its a breeze, three days and your back to normal. Some are more sensative in that area. Of course I was the later and  was still feeling it at about two weeks. Talk to your Dr. and get all the facts.

I went that route.  It took about a week to feel normal again, but it wasn't unbearable.  Worst thing about mine was the chatty doctor.

Yeah I agree with Bill, its not unbearable just annoying. Just ask your wife to pinch your nuts slightly for a little while and you'll get the idea, lol, then of course ask her to rub them afterward. Goodluck.
