Semi-auto Sniper / hey Joey
« on: December 07, 2007, 10:43:24 AM »

This is a semi-auto sniper rifle , maybe aftr can
tell which one.....I posted this because maybe
its just me but doesnt this sniper's "Spotter"
sound just like Joey ?  lol....

It does contain a little cursing, not much but
I wouldnt watch around kids , towards the end
you can judge how much cod4 sounds like the
real weapons or not.

Nice. Amazing how relaxed, or another day at the office, their attitude was as they were shooting the hell out of the insurgents/bad guys.

finally looked at this 'cause I couldn't at work.  It looks like a modified M16 to fire a .308 cartridge.  I mean, I can't see using a 5.56 for sniping at 800 meters, and the cartridge in the exposed magazines is definetly 5.56 or .308, but th stock of the weapon is right off a M16.  So while I couldn't tell you the official name.  Modified M16 firing a .308 cartridge.  Might even be called an M16 designated marksman, 'cause the Marine has D.M. (designated marksman) which are M14 modified w/ a pistol grip and scope that we had just started using in Iraq when I got out.  Probably another variation of this w/ the M16 and .308.

lol....I wasnt there but I think their hits "registered"
and I was talking about the guy that was calling
out targets and talking in our southern slang that
you could not see , only hear.

And wow aftr , I understood some of that , I dont
see how any modification of a M16 is/would be the
best choice at 800 meters so I agree with what
you said , dont have a clue what the weapon was,
anyway the spotter reminded me of Joey when I heard him
talking , cheers.
