Anyone read....

Books by Dean Koontz? He's been my favorite writer for 12 years now. I really don't read anyone but him. Just wanted to see if anyone else reads him. He sucks you in to all his books

I read Phantoms, The Bad Place, The Servants of Twilight, Watchers, and Whispers.  My wife is reading his Odd Thomas series now.  I love how he has the ability to keep you in the story no matter how unbelievable things get.  Definitely one of my favorite writers.

Chuck Palahniuk is up there too.  Love his views on society.

I have read a lot of his books. He is one of my favorite. He bases his fiction in just enough fact to really keep you in there, including the unbelievable. You can tell he researches a lot.

I've got virtually a library of Dean Koontz... The Odd Thomas series, False Memories "re-reading it right now", Intensity, Winter Moon, Twilights of Darkness... and several more. I've read some Stephen King, but he just doesn't pull me in like Koontz does.

Intensity was just that, INTENSE!

The first Dean Koontz I read was "Watchers", and it is still one of my favorites. I read it when I was in the Navy and got hooked on his books. I haven't read all of them, that's for sure, but I have read a lot of them.

Off the top of my head other books I have read from him are; Phantoms, Whispers, Twilight, Twilight Eyes, Lightning, Midnight, The Bad Place, Midnight, Shadow Fires, Dragon Tears, Hide Away, and By the Light of the Moon. That's all I can think of. I know there are a few others.

I've been looking for something to read recently, and have been thinking of reading Koontz.  Anyone recommend one to start with?

Just about any of his books are great reads. You may want to check out Odd Thomas, it's pretty cool. Plus, it's a 3 books series.
