Forgot to mention my beagle was a rescue from the D.C. Humane Society.
I am serious and don't call me surely.

We are a simple family:

1 Dog - Black Labrador Retreiver
1 Betta

I did have a 55g FW tank but had to sell it with the fish because I was deploying and nobody could take care of it. I plan to get a 49g bowfront when i get back. We may want another dog soon but I dunno what yet... I want a ball python but my wife says no..

We have several pets now..

3 dogs.    Xena - Chow mix, Sandy - don't know, she showed up one day and Molly - fat and round mutt..  She showed up one day too.

1 cat.    Jasmine, someone didn't want her, we took her.

2 betas

And now a pet turtle for the kids to play with..

Stay tuned, I'm sure there will be more one day.

We used to have Chihuahuas, until our beloved Lucy unexpectedly died.  We moved and thought we were done with pets.
We now have 13 Chickens( I know they only have 2 legs not 4, sue me) 11 Silkies, and two Orphingtons(they have a coop outside, they do not live inside with us).
And 5 days ago my brother in law brought a kitten over that he had rescued, and it was so cute and the boys got attached so quick so we also have a 8 week old kitten.

before my wife and I were married her family had a deaf dalmation.  Coolest dog I knew.

The dalmation they got after that was the most imbread, "learning disabled" dog I knew, and I've known some stupid dogs.
Our springer spaniel (deceased) was one. Ate a whole bowl of Hershey Kisses. Foil and all. This wasn't the cause of death though.

Once our 2 cats and 1 bird are gone--that's it--no more animals. I've always been a pet-person, but I've reached the breaking point. If I have to smell piss on the couch or pick up another turd from behind the dining room curtains I'm going to freak.

Ahh there we go. Cat just puked on the kitchen counter  :gaah:

Now we are down to one 20 year old cat. She is totally blind now, but gets around the house really well. If anything is moved or something left out on the floor she'll bump into it, stop, think about it move over a foot or so and try again.

We will be looking for a new puppy for Jeremy soon. He needs the companionship and responsibility building a dog, especially a puppy, will offer.

That's a great looking Boston Terrier. Wish I still had one. Best small dog imo. I have a Mini Schnauzer now. Only looks good when he has a fresh grooming, but we still love his high maintenance ass.

Dogs and Cats are not allowed here we currently live but the area and the cost in rent make up for that.  So, we currently have a hamster which is the coolest hamster I have ever seen.  She's a riot and sits on our shoulders or in a shirt pocket and watches TV with us and all.  We also now have 6 guppies which before long will be many more I'm sure of that.  Emily, has been hounding me to get her a bird.  I have thought about it as she is really good for a 7 year old about feeding and watering her hamster and feeding her fish.  But, I'm not sure either of us are ready for a bird.

My dad is now going on the 7th year of having a pure-bred female bob cat living in his house.  Which I totally disagree with. Granted she is a beautiful animal, but she has driven a divide between not only me but also my younger brother who now has a child of his own, with concerns about her disposition towards our kids.  Neither of us visit much anymore due to it, but that is the choice he has made.
