70,000 gamerscore
« on: September 02, 2008, 02:26:40 PM »
It is official.  I hit it on Labor Day.  Ironically it was kinda laborius.  Anyways thats where I stand on my quest for 100,000 by the end of the year.

30,000 points remaining divided by 122 days remaining leaves me at about 245 points per day.

This is good because when I started in June thats about what I needed to average!

I thought about joining again, but I just couldn't.  The last challenge just about wiped me out.  I love hitting achievements and getting GS, but doing it as a challenge like that just sucked all the fun out of playing for me.  Made me stoop to playing games like Avatar.  I hated myself.  I really did.  I'm just going to getting points the way God (Microsoft) intended.  As a natural part of gaming.  I do wish you luck on your quest though.

Did you see that OXM had an article on getting 10,000 points in 24 hrs?  They like 7G instead.

Sadly yes I have that issue.

In addition they had an article about how do to certain hard achievements for easier games...such as lego star wars 2.

My buddy Jimmyhova was actually cited as a reference on that one.

Yes I know.  lol.  amazingly enough I still get laid by my fiance and get straight A's in all my grad school classes.

I have actually decided my true goal is to be ranked third in my state (tn) in gamerscore.

The number 1 guy in my state is actually regarded as the true number 1 overall leader

Well, go for that goal of #3. I see you being able to also. On a side note, you going to join the madden league or what?

I dont really play that much, I just plan very well, such as only play games once there is an achievement guide, play easy games first, that sort of thing.
